Abstract

Fine Arts are a source of aesthetic tastes that create beauty, proportion, relief and happiness in life. It is, in fact, the interpretation of man's tastes of beauty which he has been instructed by nature. From the beginning of human history these arts have been present in different shapes in every civilization and society. Muslims not only encouraged the arts but also played an important role in promoting the Islamic concept of Beauty and Excellence and used them in such a way that kept them from being mutilated or inferior. Muslims have given new dimensions to calligraphy, architecture, decoration, art and music and provided valuable services in these fields. That is why in the past Muslims used these arts very well in the preaching and invitation of Islam. But in near past, the concept of these arts has been mixed in the minds of Muslims of the world. Due to passage of time and lack of awareness of religion, Muslims in some respect become deviant, due to which the concept of Islamic arts has become confused in the minds of common people.It is necessary to find out that modern forms of fine arts can be used for Islamic teaching and Dawah within what rules and regulations. This article discuss how the Fine arts can soothe a person’s emotions and how usefulit can be in mental evolution, so that the general public is aware of their rationale of use for  Islamic education and Dawah in the light of modern requirements and the methods of Dawah based on modern lines.
