Abstract

The Holy Qur’an is a major source of Qur’anic teachings and Rest of Islamic science. Interpretation of Holy Qur’an has become very important from early period of Islam as Hazrat Ibn –e-Abbas was entitled: Tarjuman-ul-Qur’an.  A lot of commentators have contributed towards interpretation of Holy Qu’ran .Imam Al-Qushayri was one of them, he has great contribution in this field. He wrote a complete commentary of the Holy Qu’ran entitled: Lata’ifal-isharat fi Tafsir al-Qura’n (The subtleties and allusion in the commentary of Holy Qur’an) His most famous work, however, is his Risal ila al-Qushariya or epistle to the Sufis, which is one of the complete Encyclopaedia of Sufiasim. The article entitled: Aspects of Alseerah Alnabviyah (peace be upon Him) in the commentary of Holy Qur’an by Al-Imam Al Qusheri is a critical study of the said aspects described in this commentary. Some examples are described to prove the special style, method of Al Imam Al Qusheri in his commentary.
