Abstract

Maulāna Shah Abdul Qadir Raipuri (1873-1962) was the Spiritual successor of Shah Abdul Rahim Raipuri. His life was filled with devotions and determined supplications to Allah, the Almighty. Maulana Abdur Rahim was pleased with the piety and spiritual progress of his student. After the demise of his Shaikh, he remained benefiting people by connecting them to Allah and ingraining the love of Allah in their hearts. The life and work of Maulana Raipuri yields many precious lessons for the Muslim Ummah. This paper attempts to enlighten social aspect of the religious ideology of Maulana Raipuri and explores his scholarly contributions towards Sub-continent's social, educational and spiritual fields.
