Abstract

Maulana Abdur Rahim is one of those famous and reputable scholars, who had the remarkable contribution onpreaching Islam through their activism inside and outside the country of Bangladesh. He had a profound position in the field of Da’wah, Culture and Islamic Literature. Specially his contribution on founding a cultured organisation and developing an Islamic Societyfor the people of Bangladesh is outstanding. Beside, he was a person having excellent skills in the field of research and writing. Some of his important books are: Kalima Tayyiba, The tafsir of Surah Fatiha, Imaner Tatporjo (The concept of Iman), Sunnat O Bid’at (The Sunnah and the Bid’ah), Tawhider Totto kotha (The theory of Tawhid), Poribar O Paribarik Jibon (Family and Household life) etc.
