Abstract

 

This study aimed at examining the effect of using work sheets on Mastery of Recitation and Modulation for grade six students in Riyadh Area in Saudi Arabia. The study sample consisted of )124( male and female students fro) 4( sections who were divided into two groups: experimental group which studied Recitation and Modulation using work sheets and controlled group using traditional method. After implementation of the study, an achievement test was applied (written and oral exams). The researcher used the) T test (for comparison between pre and post averages to make sure that the two experimental groups are equal in the pre oral and written tests. The researcher used ANCOVA to answer the study questions. The results of the study showed the following:

- There are statistically significant differences ≤ 0.05) a( attributed to teaching using work sheets in the provisions of recitation and Modulation.

  -There were no statistically significant differences at the level of significance ≤ 0.05) a (due to sex or interaction between method and sex in the provisions of recitation and modulation.

In light of the results of the study, some recommendations were suggested.
