Allah Almighty completed the religion of Islam by declaring it as the religion of nature and made it complete code of life for the humanity guidance till the doom’s day .And now Islam is such a broad and extensive religion that it has a satisfactory solution of every question of the rising situation .In this perspective, the jurists of classical time and the latter scholars discuss the issues including leading (Imamat) of woman in the prayer with great care and management. Recently, this complicated issue rose all over afresh, when woman like Dr. Amina Wadud and Rahil Raza led mixed gender in prayer. Now the scholars of ancient time and jurists of this modern era deliberated this issue with new horizon. In this research paper the opinions of the former and the later scholars about the Imamat of women have been discussed and results have been shown.
